Assisted Living and Respite Care For Seniors

Located in Louisville in the Buechel neighborhood, Rose Anna Hughes Home offers Assisted Living Basic Health and Respite Care for seniors. Assisted Living Basic Health provides an opportunity for people to live fully and independently with assistance from staff members who feel like family.

Assisted Living Basic Health communities offer the same social environment and support for independence as an assisted living community, but with the added benefit of licensed medical staff who can provide services such as medication administration and nursing care.

Our residents consider Rose Anna Hughes their home. As one resident shared, “If you don’t like it, you tell the staff! You live here!”

Engaging Community Activities

At Rose Anna Hughes, residents have the opportunity to participate in cooking classes, reading circles, hymn sings, bingo, garden club, and more. Our staff develops an extensive calendar of activities that brings together residents, staff, families, friends, and the broader community.

We also offer an Artist in Residence Program – the first of its kind in Kentucky – in partnership with the University of Louisville School of Music. The program promotes intergenerational living (students live on-site with the residents) and residents and staff with music.

Private Apartments At An All-Inclusive Monthly Rate

Rose Anna Hughes offers 54 private suites available at an all-inclusive, flat monthly fee. We do not charge extra for additional services because we want our residents to feel at home. Living options are available based on budget; we offer both studio and one-bedroom floorplans to choose from.
